CLIENT PROFILE: A couple in their early 40's. He's a restauranteur, she is a pediatrician. He likes art (especially sculptures in bronze, and modern paintings), and clean wooden design from the 20th century.  She likes the mix of modern with classic antique. They both have a strong positive reference of the 70's high-end design (the less trendy, and more sophisticated side) from their family homes.

DESIGN PROJECT: Hollywood Hills (Los Angeles, CA)

CLIENT PROFILE: A single man in his late 30's. Works as a TV show producer in a major network. He loves the 70's, and also has an attraction to asian design.  His approach was full deligation and an "I trust you, just go for it!" attitude which accommodated his busy work schedule well.

Sao Paulo, Brazil

DESIGN PROJECT: Sao Paulo, Brazil

CLIENT PROFILE: A young couple in their mid-twenties. She's in med school, he works in is family business. They both wanted a young home, mixing vintage and modern. He wanted a TV room with two LCD's (games and TV). Although they could find all appliances in Brazil, we decided to buy all the kitchen appliances in Miami, and have it shipped to Sao Paulo. They didn't have any specific demands, they only wanted it to look fresh and comfortable.

Palm Springs, CA

DESIGN PROJECT: Palm Springs, CA

CLIENT PROFILE: A single man in his early 50's.  Purchased this amazing estate that was recently renovated following the Spanish Villa style bringing back its original intended glamour. This property was part of a bigger estate originally built in the 20's. It was divided into a separate estate in the 40's. In the 60's became the second home of a famous TV actress, and later in the 70's it was sold to a famous couple of the music industry.  My client wanted this to be his second home and asked the design to be focused for social gatherings and weekend guest retreats.  The mix of separate lounge areas around the outdoor swimming pool was a perfect canvas for the visual direction. He loves art and antiques, and really wanted to invest in really unique pieces. He also loves the 70's and asked me to incorporate that hip 70's style into the vision. I suggested to him to mix it with natural material furniture and some eastern and latin art and antiques, so his Palm Springs home would be, as we decided to call, a "Hip version of a Spanish Villa".

DESIGN PROJECT: Sao Paulo, Brazil

CLIENT PROFILE: A couple in their late-forties. They own a construction company that's focused on high-end condos. They have 2 daughters still living with them and are building a new apartment that will take 2 years to be completed.  They wanted to renovate their current apartment using some of the pieces they already had and some new ones.  They asked me to change the original style completely (it was previously an average decorated apartment with none of their own individual personality).

Malibu, CA

DESIGN PROJECT: Malibu, CA

CLIENT PROFILE: A young businessman purchased this beachfront home to be his "cool crash pad", for friends and parties (he also has another estate in Sherman Oaks he calls his "calm family retreat"). He wanted a young, fun and modern feeling home. He really likes the 50's and 60's style and wanted it colorful with cool modern art.  He also really likes classic vintage cartoons. The living area is basically a big loft. He only asked me for 3 things: a big display cabinet for his robot collection, a living area with a desk and lounge space that would accommodate "work meetings" and socializing with friends, and a TV room with two 60" LCDs, one especifically for gaming.
